Milano Wargame 2018 – Feb 25, 2018

Also this year my club (La Piccola Armata) took part to Milano wargame.

This time we prepared two tables: one historical inspired to Italian Independence wars and another one to a fantasy-horror scenario.

The first table recreates the Volturno battle (Oct, 1 1860) between Garibaldini and South Reign troops (Borbonici).

The scenario was prepared by Paolo Montinaro with the help of other club members (Valter, Massimo, Franco B., Franco) using his rule system: Garibaldini all’attacco!

The second-one table was inspired to Warlord Project Z. All miniatures and buildings are prepared/painted by Maurizio with the support of our kingmaker Ezio

During the exhibition was organized a Saga tournament in which another member of “La Piccola” was involved (Riccardo)

But Riccardo is not only a good player but a talent painter too with his Umbrella team

Black hawk down Zombie - Jan 2018

Maurizio is continuing with his Zombie project. At the beginning of January he completed some characters and a squad of regular troops to increase the range of his creations.

Maurizio does not paint the miniatures only but he prepared all the building and the other scenographic elements too. 

Modifying a simple children's game he prepared scenario that seems a scene of "black hawk down"

and, with the same attention, he prepared some crashed vehicles to depict a barrier against the zombie hordes

Zombie – July 15, 2017

Fight to survive in the abandoned streets of a post-apocalyptic world infested by unnatural creatures hungry for your flesh. Scavenge for scarce supplies whilst battling against the dead and the living alike; there are no laws, there are no rules, only the fight … this is the initial sentence that Warlord's authors use to introduce this skirmish game.

Last Saturday Maurizio (a member of La Piccola Armata) prepared a scenario inspired to this game and, in general, to tv series as “The walking dead” and “Z Nation”

All miniatures on the table are painted by Maurizio

Building are prepared and painted by Maurizio (the great part of them) and by Flavio.  The scenario arranged was large and very realistic so it is very difficult to render it with some pictures. Below some imagines of the comic book store with the billboard of Saul Goodman on the roof

And finally some bikers … the characters that cannot be lacking in a post apocalyptic game
